Hi there,

i just installed XBIAN 1.0 on my Pi after using OpenELEC and Rasbmc for many months. Both distributions worked pretty fine with my Samsung UE55D6500 tv including CEC-HDMI.

But with Xbian is's not working anymore. Tried different HDMI 1.4 cables which all worked with OpenELEC and Rasbmc.

Is this a known bug?

Kind regards,

Holger
What XBian version are you using (Alpha 5/Beta1?)

The latest one. XBian 1.0 Beta 1
Have you updated to the latest cec package?

Within xbmc Programs -> Xbian-config -> Update: xbian-package-cec
I checked the Xbian config and everything is up-to-date.
No way to get the CEC-HDMI working.
Tried a CEC rescan with my TV but the Rasberry Pi is not recognized.

Try installing Aplha 5 and see if it works then.

I installed Alpha 5 but there is no CEC package at all and can't be installed either
I had a similar problem where I lost control of my Pi via the TV.

What I did to solve it was turn on all the HDMI devices that were connected to the TV and then tried to control it. This worked for me. Now I can turn off all the other devices and it works fine.
