Several months ago I bought Raspberry Pies at RS Online and installation of Xbian was done in a second. Recently I bought few more at RS Online and now after doing the same installation through your installer program is doesn't work anymore. RASBMX however still works on these new Pies.

Any clue, because I prefer using Xbian
Polle, xbian-package-firmware from ver 1.4-4 should be able to boot on those new RPIs, but it is untested as we don't have the hardware to test.

It's not part of thee beta1.1 image (will be with beta2).

But what you can do is just flash Beta1.1 image and replace the three files as found here https://github.com/xbianonpi/xbian-package-firmware/tree/master/content/boot .

If you succeed, please let us know.
wtf? so does this mean the brand new pi i just bought isnt the latest version? because i didnt have any problems...

i shouldnt complain though. its working brilliantly. been streaming the same radio station now for over 24hrs non stop!
I bought new 3weeks as well. And boots with old firmware. So this depends on stock levels at suppliers Wink

BTW: Beta1.1 image was updated with the never firmware. So that it boots is still no proof of something Wink
well i did buy mine off amazon to ensure quick shipment... i suppose thats about the worst place to get the latest model.

whatever i got though is working great. i am running 1.2 beta. i cant complain. i almost bought the beaglebone black but it doesnt have composite output or analog audio, so meh.
