I just installed Beta 2 fresh but I noticed that the xbmc.org official repository is empty. I right clicked on it and did a force refresh but this did not fix my issue. How can I fix this?

you can not fix thi so do we. Please next time you see the issue like this first check the source, so XBMC. They having and server issues for few days now, please read and check their site for updates. Nothing to do with XBian so we cant really help
