Just wondering if there are any plans to implement 12.3 in the Beta 2 installation:

It won't be officially in Beta 2 but will be included in Xbian 1 (which I believe will be Gotham)

I guess most of those fixes will be in the gotham-nightly builds but I haven't had much success with it - too many crashes.
With a final release for Gotham still being a few months out, and xbmc 12.3 having a few important fixes for rpi playback, I would really love to see xbmc 12.3 on xbian beta 2. Do you guys have a tutorial/instruction available on howto get 12.3 on beta 2? Will a package be made available? I'm not up for nightlies/alpha's of Gotham yet (my gf kills me when stuff breaks with the htpc setup Tongue) so I would love to see xbmc 12.3 in between.
The current xbmc contains a lot of Gotham backports (more than Frodo 12.3 has).

Along these lines, what version database versions does xbian contain? good to know for mysql syncing.

I was explaining few times that specially development of XBMC on RPI differs from upstream. it is a bit like upstream + pimp my ride.

Current XBian Frodo12.2 as stable on B2 is compiled on 24-Dec 2013 with commits to it in mid Dec.

(official Frodo12.3 is !!!Oct-2013 release!!! and won;t be updated anymore. hands up who was the one wanting to downgrade only because 12.3 > 12.2?)

@bacobart

there are no instructions / tutorials as all this are regular package updates managed by apt/dpkg. if you enabled autoupdates, you will be notified if restart needed. if you didn't enable them, you will be notified if new are available.
