Been running v1 Alpha5 for months without a problem with the MPG2 license. In December I decided to install v1.0 Beta 2 now I cannot play MKV files even with MPG2 license?

I have checked that the license is installed and enabled, but when I play MKV's I just get a black screen with no audio. MP4's play fine (but I only have a few films in this format) - audio FLAC's and MP3's are fine too... any thoughts?

If you have a spare SD card try a fresh install of beta 2.

I have 2 installs, 1 is an upgrade from alpha5, and the other is a fresh install of beta2 - both run fine with any of my h264 MKV files (I don't have the mpg2 licence code) which I have encoded from my BD collection.

Please provide more information as defined in Please read before you post - a link is in my signature.

Include the xbmc.log via pastebin and the codec information.

If possible post (if legal) a small section of a file so we can test the playback.
