Was there any update on firmware for a USB DVB-T with the RTL2838, with the R820T tuner?

Here are a couple of links that I have found in my quest

Im just wondering how to go about getting the hardware to work.
Im new to RPi and even newer to XBian.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You're post was Yesterday at 09:31am.

Badgering will get you nowhere - and even less likely to get a response.

Any kernel change takes time, plus suitable testers - if you're willing to test, pledge your involvement.

Thanks for the reply, Sorry if I was being impatient, but I just wasn't sure if anybody would reply to my comment if I had just hijacked another thread.

Im always keen to help, but have a minimal knowledge in coding and kernels etc, but am willing to give things a go, but just need somebody to tell me how to go about it.
