Hi guys,

My hard drive is lagging when connected to my Rasberry. If I connect a usb drive of 8gb, I don't have any problems, but with my new hdd with USB 3, all the movies are lagging. Even the music stops to load everyonce in a while. Any suggestions ?

Hello guys, sorry it took me so long.
I fixed my problem. It is actually due to the fact that I did not have enough power. Although it's says on my charger that it has 1A of current, which is enough for the PI, it is not enough for the PI and a external hard drive with only one USB port and no external power. I bought a charger with 2A, and now it works just fine.

If you had filled in the details in "Read before you post" before posting this question, that detailed would have been picked up.
