Xbian, version of XBMC 12.2 Git:20131125

I have the RaspberryPi on my network, and am accessing a pair of directories off of a file server over SSH. While running through the XBMC menus, randomy a window pops up called "xbian-root-btrfs" and lists items such as Browse views and Browse music. I am guessing this is the same pop up that would appear if I plugged in some sort of USB storage. When I select one of the items it brings up an empty media list.

Is there any way I can make these pop ups stop?
Unfortunately - at the moment - there is no way to disable the pop up as it is part of the core XBMC.

What is causing the pop up? I would like to understand what's going on. Thanks.
BTRFS making sheduled snapshots of your system.
I'm going to patch XBMC to filter out /dev/root and /tmp/* destinations
This is still an issue in the latest release. Thanks.
File a report on github please, the developers are there everyday to read and handle issues.
Note to my future dumb self, I already had filed an issue on github...

Thanks for doing so.
