Software
XBian version: 1.0 (knockout)
XBMC/Kodi version:
Overclock settings: default
Hardware
Raspberry Pi 2 B
Power supply rating: USB Micro AC Adapter 5v
SD card size and make/type: 8gb NOOBS card (wiped)
Network: ethernet
Connected devices: 2 sata hdd, TV, router
Log files
http://xbmclogs.com/p5dxungjo
Problem description:
I followed Fred's "RE: [Part 3] Download torrent & newsserver packages" and have a downloader rigged. I followed his instructions and moved the download folders to an external hhd attached to the pi.
Weird thing is: once downloaded, the xbian will play the files, but with no audio. I've tried it with a few.
Extra weird: if I look at the files on my PC across the room over the network, they play correctly.
Also: other video files on the same hdd play just fine.
Any ideas?
[PS: where is xbian hiding the configurations for my HDD? When I type sudo net config list it has parameters detailed for both my hard drives (set to share vie gui), but when I open the samba conf files, they are nowhere to be seen?]
