XBian version: XBian 1.0 (knockout)
XBMC/Kodi version: 14.2-1431026245
Overclock settings: Medium
Hardware
Device type and model (e.g. Raspberry Pi Model A/B 256/512 MB, CuBox-i i4Pro, ...): Raspberry Pi 2 Model B
Power supply rating: 5V 2000mA
SD card size and make/type: PNY 8BG Class 10 (boot) with Kingston DataTraveler 100 G3 (root)
Network (Ethernet or wireless): Ethernet
Connected devices (TV, USB, network storage, ...): TV Panasonic Viera and Kingston DataTraveler 100 G3
When I use this version of Kodi and I start xbian-config from the GUI or 'System info' for example I get a black screen for 1 second and then the blue Kodi desktop with the cursor in the top left corner for half a second. It seems like Kodi is restarting and this keeps repeating. I tried restarting (from SSH) and replugging everything but it made no difference.
If I stop Kodi (sudo stop xbmc) I can use the Raspberry Pi with the installed packages (NZBGet, Sickrage, Couchpotato, etc.) just fine.
I tried using the second to last Kodi package (14.2-1430380114) but this has the same issue.
After manually downgrading to the Kodi 14.1 package there is no issue at all. I used:
edit:
When this happens and I leave 'top' open via SSH I see this:
So it looks like the process is actually respawning.
Edit (solved):
This is fixed in 15.1-1440132163
