Hi

Does Xbian support miracast or "chromecast"? (casting youtube etc from android to xbian)

Can Xbian work as a Plex receiver or is there a well working Plugin for it?

For Miracast it would be needed a Miracast decoder on the Pi... since it requires Intel WiDi (not WiFi Direct!) hardware/software i think its kinda of difficult (emulation or decoding via software might be possible but even the Pi 2 does not have the compute resources to spare imo)

Miracast oficial

Chromecast i think its easier to do since it relies on software codecs... But i leave that answer for the devs.

The author does not specifies what chipset and what models of TP-LINK WNics are compatible :/

It nice to know that some WNIC chipsets can be used as Miracast decoders...

BTW here you can find some nice info about Miracast by Broadcom.
They are the only two miracast capable dongles by tp-link
