Hello

I installed xbian from the website onto a RP2 a few months ago, I never configured auto updates, so have only recently looked into upgrading, and it looks like I'm on an old version.

When I check my system info I have the following information:
Quote:Kodi 14.2-BETA

Git:2015-02-13-6b3b5a4-dirty
(Compiled: Feb 13 2015)
This seems old to me, I understand there is at least version 15 out and 16 is being tested.

So I try and use the xbian-config app from inside xbian and I have a large list of apps, but I get stuck trying to upgrade; currently my apps are older than ones I have currently installed as I've already run apt-get upgrade and apt-get update, and xbian-update won't install because:
Code:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:                │
          │  xbian-update : Depends: libcec (>= 3.0) but it is not install │
When trying to install libcec I get the following message:
Code:
Package libcec is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'libcec' has no installation candidate
I have run through the instructions in the FAQ and my source files match that page.

I am unsure what to try next can anyone give some tips and advice?

Add the gpg keys (one line at a time, you can copy and paste) and try again.

Adding the gpg keys did the trick for me a couple weeks ago
