Today I like to announce the existence of SuperRepo.org and it's all-in-one repository containing over 950 addons.

What is SuperRepo?
SuperRepo is one giant repository plus several subrepositories for XBMC addons and skins. Unlike many other meta-repositories, SuperRepo is capable of processing the included addons. This makes it possible to categorize addons and include dependencies on the fly. The outcome is one giant...SuperRepo! For a more detailed explanation please have a look at How it's done. There is also a list with a few advantages of SuperRepo. For those who love some examples of the features of the Xtended Repository Generator that makes it all possible:

Regards,
Bart Otten - Founder of SuperRepo

(29th Jan, 2013 05:20 PM)johnnyvibrant Wrote: [ -> ]you seem to have navi-x version 3.7.4 when the latest is 3.7.6 can you update the repo please with the latest from https://code.google.com/p/navi-x/downloads/list as this overrides the update in the actual plugin as well for some reason.

For samen reason their official repository still includes .4. Will add .6 manual today and contact type navi-x maintainers
I contacted the maintainer of Navi-X and from now on we should get the lastest version automatically. Can take a few hours before the repo servers the new one (as I work on XML processing at the moment)
No, if you have the source already you don't have to do anything. This installer only adds the source (so people don't have to type that much anymore)
Feedback from a XBian point of view:
- Can be a little bit tricky on what zip to choose (a little readme/wiki/instructions will clarify this).
- Kickass logo
- Tested a few program addons, results:
--- XBMC log updater: awesome, works, cool addon! Smile
--- WebViewer: crashed XBMC -> error in terminal: Fatal Python error: ceval: orphan tstate
--- Sudoku: worked
--- SpeedFan: useless for XBian (but works)
--- Space invaders: script failed
--- Gmail Checker: worked
--- Forum browser: I like it for XBian purposes! works
--- Facebook Media: works 2

Conclusion:
Compliments! It's improving. (6/8 worked, much better than previous time!). Also as it's not part of the XBian project we should consider replacing fusion by super repo.

As you wish: http://www.superrepo.org/get-started/how-to-choose-and-use-the-repositories/
the add-ons are so VAST.......... possibly a BEST add-on list or suggested add-on's would help. I had no idea about navi-x till reading irc chat. I found free cable add-on by trial and error. Kills the HULU add-on, for my guests video requests. Channel 1 is nice, but navi-x is better. I have also used veetle, but thats streaming video, and i catch movies mid stream. There should be more info's about such GREAT xbmc add-ons. BartOtten your a legend =O
Soon there will be a download counter which I hope to improve with a little modification to the download system of XBMC. It will result in a top downloads list (so most popular addons can be found easily). Guess they will have their own subrepo so you can add only one small repo but still have all popular addons Big Grin
As promised:

I think we'll have a Top Rated and Top Downloads soon Wink
I've added some new sources to the GIT list yesterday (name: "DERSPHERE"):
http://wiki.superrepo.org/view/Xtended_Repository_Generator:Sources:Frodo

Especially the new "itunes_trailers" addon is interesting.
But when I check the Addon list today, I can't find them there:
http://addons.superrepo.org/Frodo/output_index.html

So isn't SR running daily anymore or did I something wrong?
It's much easier: I should get notified when somebody edits the list, so I can ckeck changes and import them. Somehow that does not happen. Will add them manually.
Hi Namtih,

There is no problem in having the derspheres not in the list as they are delivered by the official repository. For completeness sake I will make sure they get in the index though.
Before you add sources to the list, please make sure there are not already in official report

@namtih: it was a faulty adding.XML that cause problems. Tnx to your report I found out so tnx again!
