For what purpose?
I'm trying to write some movies titles in XBMC.

Some special characters (like á, ó...) are not available, so I can't search in Spanish Sad
Owk, i'm not sure if that's related to the unix locales or something inside XBMC.
The main problem is that it does not match the distribution of physical keyboard keys with what I write on the screen:

For example: in the Spanish keyboard, the character "(" is in the key of "8" (shit +8 = "(")...

It's very difficult to write something Sad
Try searching google on how to set locales.
Thanks, I've done that search but I've not found any helpfull tutorial so I've decided to ask here for help.
Thanks a lot.

I'll try that solution...
I've found this: http://forum.xbian.org/thread-117.html?highlight=console

I'll try replacing "de" with "es"...
That solution requires additional packages that probably aren't needed when you just try to change the locale.
