Hi all.
I'm streaming different MKV from my nas and I didn't get any video! only sound. Is it a codec issue?
What codec is inside the MKV file?
Did you check you log-file to see if there is a certain error like "video type not supported" or something like this?
Streaming the same videos works fine with Beta/RC?

need to check...anyway using the rc2 videos were perfect.
It seems that this XBMC version doesn't go into idle mode over here? The CPU usage is a constant 80 - 90 percent when on the home screen.

Hello, I have the same issue than you. I started using Alpha 4 two days ago and I realized that It wasn't able to play some videos (no problem with raspbmc), yesterday I updated to Alpha 5 manually as described but I still have the same issue.
@portera can you share a sample of this video?
Upgrade works perfect.
All files (SD,720p, 1080i/p) are working perfect.

Keep up the good work.

best regards from germany
CurlyMo. I have a v1 and v2 Pi. The v2 have new xbmc, final. I just came home from work and took a look at top.
23.6 13.8 690:44.16 xbmc.bin thats 23.6 cpu, xbmc is at home screen. I did notice high cpu load, after install. But it sure has calmed down, runs great !!!
I redid the steps and now it's working great. Don't know what caused my issues.
Since the latest update, i'm not able to run videos that ran without a hitch on alpha 3.

I made two attempts to repeat the steps, and got this error each time. Is this all right?

So, if the server is not down should i be doing something different?
Tested on RPi ver. 2 everything OK.

Remarks:
* Needed to copy remote control configuration files from xbmc.OLD to xbmc.
* MUTE function now works!!!
*Noted High CPU usage, changed overclock profile from "XBIAN" to "NONE" nothing changed.

Great Job!!!
@rcpoinho, if you have a custom remote control configuration, is it worth sharing with us?
