Do you want to continue? [Y/n]

Fairly mundane I would have thought. Nope. This causes video stuttering. If you can imagine this, the audio continues and the video freezes for 3 seconds, then the video restarts and runs at fast forward speed to catch up to the audio. This is done continuously throughout the playback.

So, I backed out to the pre-update install (btrfs FTW!) and everything's back to normal. Unfortunately I don't have time at this moment to investigate it.

Also, any upgrade seems to trash /etc/apt/preferences.d/xbian. This pin setting was required to stop deluged crashing:

Hmmm, some other users already reported video/audio stuttering with Kodi 17.4 on Cubox-i/Hummingboard systems.

Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce it Confused
Even FullHD BD-Remux mkv's running smooth over a WLAN Samba network share

Yes, xbian-package-repo reinstalls this file always.

You can owerwrite this pinning by adding your own file to /etc/apt/preferences.d

Terminal

root@kmxbilr2 /etc/apt/preferences.d # cat 01user
Package: openssl libssl1.0.0
Pin: release o=XBian
Pin-Priority: -1
Package: openssl libssl1.0.0
Pin: release o=Debian
Pin-Priority: 1001
root@kmxbilr2 /etc/apt/preferences.d #

It overwrites pinning in /etc/apt/preferences.d/xbian back to Debian Smile

Hello,
I'm having this stops in video and it's annoying. I'm a newbie, but I can reproduce this errors with each video I play.
Can I help with any test to get this working fine?
Thanks

Hello,

I have the same problem. Using cubox i4.

Every hurry: 1 the video freezes about 2 seconds. Very annoying.

I'll try to google it.

I am suffering the same fate, but my freezes seem to be only a fraction of a second. I suppose my next step will be to test it with a virgin install.
It appears that (for me at least) this problem is resolved in kodi 17.5.
