The thing is, I don't recall installing it. UPDATE - removed it (where ever it came from) and log has cleaned up significantly

Make sure you've updated to the latest version of XBian and try reapplying the xbian-package-cec package, as issues with CEC often stem from outdated firmware or conflicting configurations.

Wondering about switching to 64-bit OS on your Pi? I did! For me, some older addons needed updating or didn't work at all, so be ready to troubleshoot. Starting fresh might have been cleaner, but it's manageable. By the way, did you know the Pacman 30th Anniversary was in 2010?
