Quote:Hello Tom,
that statement is incorrect. There is a known issue with libCEC master (development branch) and a new firmware version for the Pi that your distribution may be using. It's registered on Github: https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec/issues/109
thanks
"that statement" is referring to "libCEC is having some major issues".
Edit: never mind, I misread his reply. Is there a way to downgrade libCEC in Xbian, since I hear those problems didn't exist before libCEC 2.0.4

I doubt if that would fix the problem because the bug is happening due to the new firmware.

So if I'm not mistaken I have to wait for the libCEC people to fix libCEC so it can work properly with the new Raspberry Pi firmware?

Unfortunately, yes

Bit I bet you can ask them nicely

I'm guessing it's gonna take a while:
Quote:All I can tell right now is as soon as possible. We're investigating the cause and solution with Broadcom, but our resources are limited and some other work has a higher priority right now. As soon as that's finished, we'll attend to currently known libCEC issues.

Is it possible to just buy an IR-receiver, plug it into the Pi and configure the Harmony for that?
I'm using a Harmony remote and an ir adapter -
i set the remote for "chinavasion-CVSB-983"
