2 ATv2's running same version of XBMC all work fine.

Have also tried connecting the rPi with this v of xbian to the central MySQL database I have but thats failing - will create seperate thread for that.

Any ideas?
How did you setup the NFS file? (exports file)
erm what? Smile

Something I need to do on the Pi?

My NAS is my NFS server and the NFS shares etc are set up on that.
What kind of system is your NAS?

QNAP NAS, configured as per http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=NFS#QNAP

As stated, have 2 Apple TV 2's that work fine with it for last 6 months - streaming all my 270+ HD Movies, and 2,000+ TV episodes work fine (all MKV/h264 format, a mixture of stereo, 5.1 dolby, DTS etc), all 400+ albums (all mp3) work fine via the ATV's.

sources.xml file (xbmc) copied onto the Pi and it can see the sources, but trying to play an MKV generated the error above.
Will give that a go tomorrow (bit late here now Wink ) and let you know how I get on.
All sussed out and working now Smile there was a hardware issue with the powerline adapter I was using. Replaced that, updated to 12.1, advancedsettings.xml updated with MySQL info, sources.xml copied in so it mirrors my ATV2's.

Everything is working like a dream Smile
