I just have a real quick question. Is it ok to leave Xbian always on? I never really had a problem with it, but I had my 8GB Sandisk SD card die on me and I was wondering if it was because I was leaving Xbian running. I only ask this because I know that flash memory has a limited amount of read/write cycles it can perform and I thought maybe it was doing some read/writing while it was sitting there and ended up leading to the SD card's ultimate demise. It lasted about 2 months of constantly being on. Not a huge deal, just something I was wondering about.
my RPi is ON 24/7 since March 2012, except the time when I reflashing card
So yes, it is
Terminal

I aslo leave my xbian running although 6 days ago I discovered that the filesystem was mounted read-only, maybe a bad restart after a power failure. I need to invetigate if it happens again.
