Hi,

When people post problems it's nice to know what they have and how it's all connected/ what versions they are running etc.

This is a pain to type for each proplem you may encounter so why not have a member profile page where we can all list our setups?

Then it's easy for the people who want to help to look up the user profile page, see what they have and take it from there.

Also, as members update their profiles others will be able to see what is working and what is giving problems just by looking at that users requests for help.

Any good or is it a lot of work for too little return?

That is a good idea Smile
And there it is: http://forum.xbian.org/usercp.php?action=profile

We also have our Wiki with Recommended and supported hardware

(Or was it really there all along and I just happen to have missed it?).

Good stuff anyway!

No, it was not. There was a biograph part but that does not count. Replaced it for this idea Smile

Woo Hoo!

Glad I could be of help (instead of wanting help for a change) ;-)

Now lets get everyone using it so it works for us all!
