Hi All,
When I follow the backup/install/restore instructions in the github nightly build, the version on my Xbian indicates 12.0 from January 27, 2013. I have tried installing as root and installing as xbian and it does not make a difference.
I followed the guide from the nightly build here: https://github.com/xbianonpi/xbmc-nightly
Does someone know what I can try from here?

I fixed the problem.
You must be logged in as xbian when you SSH into the pi. Before you perform the instructions from the nightly build, do the following:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade -y
sudo apt-get install xbian-package-xbmc -y
When that is complete, perform the instructions in "How to install", then reboot your pi. I didn't have to do the instructions in "How to restore".
My problem now is that my mouse/touchpad is super jerky. Whenever you move the touchpad, the mouse cursor will move back to the default menu option.
