Full Version: Composite (RCA) video out - tips

For something to watch while exercising I grabbed a tube TV that's be out of use for a little while, hooked up a RPi with Xbian through the composite port, and I'm streaming a few shows from video add-ons for now.

The quality doesn't seem where it should be from my recollection. But I could live with it. But one thing that is different is that there appears to be aliasing issues with small text in the xbmc gui, but also any straight edge shown on the screen from the video. It isn't just blocky, they also flutter. And this happens whether the edge is moving in the scene or not.

I would appreciate any info or being pointed to some info that could help my composite graphics quality in general and especially the aliasing/flutter issue.
