It's why Gordon needs a card with this issue so he can attempt to fix the driver. RE: I/O error when trying access to the XBMC database files - IriDium - 27th Jul, 2013 03:04 AM If you have access to a Windoze machine can you try: 1/ SDformatter - format the SD drive 2/ Win32diskimage - write the BETA 1.1 img file. See if that works. You could also try a SD card test program like: http://mympx.org/Downloads/p13_sectionid/2/p13_fileid/13 I haven't tried it, so you are on your own on that one. It seems to be the SD card that is at fault, not the RPi. If it's a class 10 card, it might we worth buying a cheap 2gb class 4 for around £4 and see if that improves things. OpenELEC don't have this problem with that sd card. |
