RE: choppy video when upgraded to alpha 3 - rikardo1979 - 4th Jan, 2013 07:53 PM have you tried to convert the subtitle format from .ass to .txt or .srt and than use it as external subtitles ? Try the software like Subtitle-Workshop try if this make any difference (it should) This can be a temp fix till there is proper fix found RE: choppy video when upgraded to alpha 3 - Casmo - 5th Jan, 2013 10:47 AM http://code.google.com/p/libass/issues/detail?id=66 I also found this. The same issue, posted on Aug 11, 2012. The styling must have been disabled or broken. If you are running linux or have a console with sed (mac?) you can do this to get rid of all the blur commands: Code: sed -e 's/{\\blur.*}//g' test.ass > new.ass I will try removing all the blur/fad/??? stuff from my files this weekend to see if it helps and if it makes things unreadable. M. RE: choppy video when upgraded to alpha 3 - Casmo - 5th Jan, 2013 01:20 PM I have extracted the .ass from some of my anime and manually removed all the blurs, and even some extra subs. And it was still quite choppy :\ Re: choppy video when upgraded to alpha 3 - rikardo1979 - 5th Jan, 2013 07:59 PM have u tried to convert the subs as I mention above ? probably easier to do than removing blur |
