RE: Skin comparison - BartOtten - 2nd Feb, 2013 07:06 AM WOW! Will use this page for the Approved 4 Raspberry Pi repository of SuperRepo! Tnx tnx tnx tnx! Saves me lots of work RE: Skin comparison - ian.valley - 1st Apr, 2013 10:19 PM Thanks for a great review, very informative. RE: Skin comparison - zilexa - 2nd Apr, 2013 10:09 PM Anyone tried the Immersive skin yet? Looks a bit like Experience1080 2.0 but more simple. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=139712 RE: Skin comparison - namtih - 3rd Apr, 2013 12:17 AM He seems to be happy with it on the Pi. So give it a try http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=139712&pid=1384660#pid1384660 RE: Skin comparison - Kevf - 20th May, 2013 06:30 PM Thanks for the comparison! This saves me a lot of time and fiddling around RE: Skin comparison - mihailescu2m - 21st May, 2013 09:43 PM Amazing skin, and so fast on the pi: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=163360 Skin comparison - Koenkk - 21st May, 2013 09:49 PM Wooooaww, that amber skin really looks nice!:O RE: Skin comparison - Smultie - 21st May, 2013 11:48 PM Indeed, Amber has replaced Confluence for me. RE: Skin comparison - Davem - 22nd May, 2013 03:47 AM I totally agree about Amber. I'm using it for about one week now and really surprised how beautiful and fast it works. RE: Skin comparison - namtih - 23rd Jun, 2013 12:31 AM I've added Amber and XBMC Immersive. Especially Amber seems very usable and lightweight. Thanks for reporting :-) Re: Skin comparison - zilexa - 23rd Jun, 2013 01:19 AM Please add MetroTV, didn't try myself but it's suppose to beat Amber in speed and it's based obodern UI from Windows8. Since MyEPi dev is a bit slow, this is a good alternative for everyone who is waiting for Metro design. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=138997 RE: Skin comparison - IriDium - 23rd Jun, 2013 01:21 AM I've tried all the skins on the xbmc repo and I have only two installed. I like PMD3 but it has higher than normal CPU compared against confluence. But I do not use it, even though I do like the structure. The reason? It has terrible CPU usage on the main screen - the place I spend the most time on standby. So it's confluence all the way for me. All that "glitters" is not gold - especially when it's a raspberry. RE: Skin comparison - namtih - 23rd Jun, 2013 04:15 AM I've added MetroTV. Unfortunately nearly all sub-categories has any sort of scrolling elements which causes a constant CPU usage of ~95% due the scrolling bug on the Rpi. RE: Skin comparison - brantje - 23rd Jun, 2013 09:52 PM Preview of the xbian skin RE: Skin comparison - IriDium - 24th Jun, 2013 02:12 AM (28th Dec, 2012 11:17 PM)rikardo1979 Wrote: so as I can see the default skin is still the best if you looking for performance and also the clean and simple looking I agree. Confluence is the slickest skin for the Pi |
