I highly suspect that'll break it.
OpenELEC is passing --disable-rsxs https://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv/blob/master/packages/mediacenter/xbmc/package.mk#L110-L112
but then still removing it after compiling https://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv/blob/master/packages/mediacenter/xbmc/package.mk#L446-L448
