RE: Upgrading from a very old version (1.05a) - CurlyMo - 13th Jan, 2015 09:52 PM @mk01 meant, if you want to "keep your A5 systems" as in "if you don't want to reinstall". If you don't, use the commands he posted. RE: Upgrading from a very old version (1.05a) - syco - 13th Jan, 2015 09:54 PM Haha, okay, thanks, both of you. I will try that in the next hours. RE: Upgrading from a very old version (1.05a) - CurlyMo - 13th Jan, 2015 10:05 PM We are curious as well if our upgrade mechanisms work as good as we think it does RE: Upgrading from a very old version (1.05a) - syco - 13th Jan, 2015 10:17 PM Okay, it is doing A LOT of stuff right now ... we will see, what comes out. RE: Upgrading from a very old version (1.05a) - syco - 14th Jan, 2015 12:34 AM Alright, it must have worked, I guess. It does not say something like 1.0 RC3, but instead Xbian 20141231 ... or so. After the procedure I rebooted and then even could do apt-get clean; apt-get update; apt-get upgrade and it did update 15 more things ... and all my settings/addons are still there. Lovely. Thank you very much. It says now Xbian 20150112-4. |
