After a fresh install and redirecting the downloads folders to my SMB, I get:

Could not create file /home/xbian/incomplete/1.out!

Literally the only setting I changed was the News Server information.

I add the following to my fstab to mount the SMB:

//192.168.1.1/terra     /mnt/terra      cifs    guest,_netdev,uid=xbian 0       0

Don't edit the settings, just follow my instruction in the FP.

Didn't edit any settings. Just entered my News Server information.

NZBGet also doesn't find unrar because it's not in /usr/local/bin as is indicated by the nzbget-postprocess.conf.
