xbian dies shortly if I unplug HDMI - x1a0 - 21st Jun, 2013 08:16 AM I am running xbian as my media center and downloading manager (using transmission). When I connect it to my monitor via HDMI cable, everything works well. However if I unplug the HDMI cable (so just using it for downloading), the system dies in couple of minutes. I cannot SSH to it (says host is down) and cannot open transmission web UI. Why is that? ![]() RE: xbian dies shortly if I unplug HDMI - Fred - 21st Jun, 2013 08:26 PM What happens if you boot it without ever attaching the HDMI cable, does it work? System can boot but will die in seconds. I tried to stop xbmc service right after boot and it seems work. So I guess it's something about xbmc?
