Well, after much Googling and asking the guys over at lib-cec, I ordered a DVI-D to HDMI cable and a DVI-D to HDMI adapter, CEC works as before now:

http://dx.com/p/gold-plated-hdmi-male-to-dvi-24-1-female-adapter-32388

A HDMI-cable without CEC would be an option too, Pulse Eight sells them: http://www.pulse-eight.com/store/products/110-cec-less-hdmi-cable.aspx but unfortunately the shipping costs are a bit steep to the Netherlands.

I know decent HDMI-cables are cheap, but I needed an HDMI-cable without CEC functionality. For that reason a DVI-cable is a good option, since it doesn't support CEC.
