Streamzap Remote issues - kgoerbig - 17th Aug, 2013 12:28 PM

I have a streamzap remote connected to my PI. I have the problem of the double press issue. To band-aid the problem until I can find a permanent solution, I edited the lircd.conf.streamzap config and commented out (#) the Up, Down, Left, & Right buttons. This helped a lot, but with those options commented out, I cannot use the xbmc virtual keyboard with my remote. I can pickup my smartphone, but that gets a tad annoying using two devices. So, I was wondering if anyone has had the experience of stopping xbian from seeing the Streamzap remote as a Keyboard/Mouse? Doing so, I think will resolve that double press issue permanently.

root@xbian-PI:/# dmesg | grep Key
[ 0.979693] Key type id_resolver registered
[ 0.979709] Key type id_legacy registered
[ 1.495555] Key type dns_resolver registered
[ 5.940103] input: MCE IR Keyboard/Mouse (streamzap) as /devices/virtual/input/input1
[ 5.940368] IR MCE Keyboard/mouse protocol handler initialized

Thanks,
Kelly

@kgoerbig Looks like no one knows the answer to this. Have replied, to "jump start" this thread again, in the hope that someone may know the answer.
