Not mounting my four HDD - matallanas - 24th Oct, 2013 08:26 PM Hi everybody, I have an issue in the last update of Xbian beta mounting my four HDD from a Sharkoon Quattro. I always can mount only one from the docking station however I could not mount the rest at the same time I have to power off the previous HDD and the connect the other one. In Xbian alpha 4 I was able to mount and unmount the four HDD at the same time. Is it possible to fix the problem? Thanks RE: Not mounting my four HDD - IriDium - 25th Oct, 2013 04:56 AM Please read before you post - a link is in my signature. Are you mounting these drives yourself? or letting Xbian mount them for you? If the latter, can you check if dbus is running? Sorry this is my RPI Software XBian version: Beta 1.1 XBMC version: 12.2 Overclock settings: No overclocking Hardware Power supply rating: 1A RPi model (model A/B 256mb/512mb): model B 512mb SD card size and make/type: 8gb Samsung Network (wireless or LAN): LAN Connected devices (TV, USB, network storage, etc.): TV and USB storage I think it is not active. How can I activate it? RE: Not mounting my four HDD - IriDium - 29th Oct, 2013 02:32 AM Go - > Programs -> Xbian-Config -> Services -> DBus -> Status <enter> <start> or ssh xbian-config -> services or ssh #sudo start dbus RE: Not mounting my four HDD - matallanas - 29th Oct, 2013 03:36 AM I started dbus but anything has changed. It is Xbian the one which mounted them. RE: Not mounting my four HDD - IriDium - 29th Oct, 2013 03:47 AM Xbian will normally mount all USB drives. However if dbus is not running at start, then the drives will not be mounted. Do a search on the forum about dbus, there is a fix for this problem, which should solve your problem RE: Not mounting my four HDD - matallanas - 29th Oct, 2013 03:57 AM Dbus appears in xbian-config as Yes in autostart, I don not knoow if it is correct or not. I will do the search for dbus. Thank you very much RE: Not mounting my four HDD - IriDium - 29th Oct, 2013 04:23 AM It may show autostart but does it show running? If not, you have to manually start it, and then search for the fix.
