omg,

is that ugly, big and expensive.

maybe we should be reminded again how this all started. year 2007, 99$ ATV1 (with a full pentium inside).

yes ok, not us reminded. them!

Be wary - it requires a mSATA SDD (Which is expensive) and RAM (So expect to add another $100 at least)

they are pretty cool indeed, but way too expensive imo.. If you'll get one for 100$ some day it will be a good alternative to a full-blown HTPC

RE: Cubox-i support - xraxor - 12th Jan, 2014 08:25 PM

they added support for one image server all 4 CuBox-i variants

yep, @freem@n I do find them priced a bit too high, the i2Ultra was 94 dollars a while ago. the only difference between it and the i4Pro is -2 cores and -1gb of ram.

geexbox implemented the one u-boot image fits all. seems like it can support 8 diff boards.

I have image ready, just have trouble starting XBMC.

Despite FB0 is there, XBMC quits on error "can render window" I remember this being stupid something, but can't remember. But until monday should be out.

at last there is not need to hack boot loading, as 3.13 kernel supports all four models. what is this all about is that before all four models were as different machine types.

as there is not bios, all component info is attached as blob to kernel file. but now the blob files are being consolidated.
