Keep XBMC running without HDMI? - skok - 21st Nov, 2013 04:31 AM Hope this isn't a dupe, but I couldn't find it. My setup RPi-(hdmi)->receiver-(hdmi)->tv When I turn off/standby my TV, the receiver also goes off via CEC, which is the wanted behaviour. Problem is, in that scenario the RPi loses it's monitor, which results in XBMC exiting - at least there are only login-prompts on ^C{2-12}. So when I power on the tv and thus the receiver again, I also need to restart XBMC as an X11 process or completly reset the RPi. That's of course quite ugly, but for powersaving reasons I'd like to have a proper solution to this. Is there any? RE: Keep XBMC running without HDMI? - mk01 - 21st Nov, 2013 06:34 AM @skok in XBMC go into settings->system->input devices. edit CEC adapter and switch all the actions to IGNORE. RE: Keep XBMC running without HDMI? - skok - 21st Nov, 2013 08:18 AM Thanks, will try that later on tonight. Quick question, other CEC commands, ie. remote control, won't be affected by this? RE: Keep XBMC running without HDMI? - mk01 - 21st Nov, 2013 12:40 PM RC should be unaffected. you will see what kind of actions this are when you open the menu. |
