Help with key mapping remote.xml - krowie - 11th Feb, 2014 03:08 PM Hi all , Im trying to do a really simple key remap .. on my Openelec install all I had to do was edit the remote.xml with the appropriate xbmc command and remote key I wanted to map it to .. I have tried that here on Xbian inside the \Volumes\xbian-xbmc\userdata\keymaps\remote.xml file .. but it is just not working .. here's what im trying to add/change <FullscreenVideo> <remote> <zero>ShowSubtitles</zero> <one>AudioDelayPlus</one> <two>AudioDelayMinus</two> Can anyone shed some light here? RE: Help with key mapping remote.xml - IriDium - 14th Feb, 2014 05:40 AM Have you tried the "Keymap Editor" available in the Xbian or XBMC repository RE: Help with key mapping remote.xml - krowie - 14th Feb, 2014 09:44 AM (14th Feb, 2014 05:40 AM)IriDium Wrote: Have you tried the "Keymap Editor" available in the Xbian or XBMC repository Thanks, yes I actually found that myself. Turns out Xbian wasn't recognizing my remote's number keys at all. .. I changed the mappings to my colors instead .. rather than fuss with setting up the entire remote ![]() RE: Help with key mapping remote.xml - IriDium - 17th Feb, 2014 03:51 AM Can you change the issue from Problem to Solved - thanks |
