Is it possible to use XBian for something else than just XBMC - geekaume - 11th Mar, 2014 08:00 PM
Hi all,
I am searching for a distribution on Raspberry Pi that can run XBMC for organizing and playing musics and videos but I want to do other stuff with my RPi too like browsing the web and install a small web server (Apache, MySQL and PHP).
Can I do that with XBian ?

OK, if I understood rightly the link you posted, it's possible to install XBian directly on Raspbian, which allows to use XBMC and a web server ?

XBian on Raspbian is actually the same as XBian img without the hassling with command & stuff.
XBian IS fully working DEBIAN system.
