Nested folder subsystem/8:0/ infinite times? - NitSuA - 25th Apr, 2014 05:28 AM Hi all, I was looking for a file on the Raspberry Pi filesystem, but during the search, I saw that winscp was accessing a folder which has almost infinite subfolders: Code: /sys/bus/mmc/devices/mmc0:b368/block/mmcblk0/bdi/subsystem/8:0/subsystem/8:0/subsystem/8:0/subsystem/8:0/subsystem/8:0/ I think this is a bug? Dont know if its Debian or Xbian. RE: Nested folder subsystem/8:0/ infinite times? - CurlyMo - 25th Apr, 2014 06:29 AM As you can see, the subsystem folder is a symlink to one of the parents: Code: root@pi:~# ls -Al /sys/bus/mmc/devices/mmc0\:0007/ RE: Nested folder subsystem/8:0/ infinite times? - NitSuA - 26th Apr, 2014 06:29 PM Hi CurlyMo, thnx, but are you giving an explanation, or a confirmation that it's a bug? RE: Nested folder subsystem/8:0/ infinite times? - CurlyMo - 26th Apr, 2014 07:48 PM Explanation. The kernel is responsible. |
