Wolfson - robbieb43 - 9th Aug, 2014 09:38 PM I have had a search of the forum and cannot find any threads relating to this, so has anyone managed to get this going with Xbian? I have tried the recompiled Kernel from here: https://blog.georgmill.de/ but it just boots into the recovery console. Does this mean that xbian needs a Kernel compiled specifically for it. Or have I missed something and makikng this harder than it should be? I am running 1.0RC2 Thanks Rob RE: Wolfson - CurlyMo - 9th Aug, 2014 10:26 PM Yes, but you can manually compile the XBian kernel yourself: https://github.com/xbianonpi/xbian/wiki/Building-XBian-packages RE: Wolfson - robbieb43 - 9th Aug, 2014 10:29 PM (9th Aug, 2014 10:26 PM)CurlyMo Wrote: Yes, but you can manually compile the XBian kernel yourself:Many thanks CurlyMo That certainly explains the boot problem - I need to set about getting an environment configured. Rob RE: Wolfson - robbieb43 - 9th Aug, 2014 11:40 PM Hi Again CurlyMo I am sorry if this going off topic but I guess someone else treading the same path will hit the same problem: in your script I get a page not found error on the wget https://raw.github.com/xbianonpi/xbian-patches/master/kernel/.config wget https://raw.github.com/xbianonpi/xbian-patches/master/kernel/frandom.patch wget https://raw.github.com/xbianonpi/xbian-patches/master/kernel/xbian_lirc_kernel.patch step. I have had a search but cannot locate where these may have moved to. Is this due to the RC1 or something? TIA Rob RE: Wolfson - CurlyMo - 10th Aug, 2014 12:37 AM Something for @mk01 |
