How can i get my hifiberry dac+ working with xbian? - Gunnarhaus - 1st Oct, 2014 06:30 AM Hi folks, I have a rpi b+ and now the new hifiberry dac+. I have several Problems to get it work. Here are some posts from another Thread, where i wrote what i have dane and what happened. "I can see the Hifiberry in Xbmc (system-settings-audio output) . Now i can select between Pi:HDMI , Pi:Analog , ALSA:Default (snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac Analog) ! BUT, if select last one (ALSA:Default (snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac Analog)) my System crashes/freezes (no ssh possible)! Have to plug out the Powersupply and plug in to reboot. Then the Audio Output is again at Pi:HDMI . What is this????? I wrote these lines to /etc/modules : snd_soc_bcm2708 snd_soc_bcm2708_i2s bcm2708_dmaengine snd_soc_pcm5102a snd_soc_hifiberry_dac Any other type of modules dont show me the hifiberry in audio output. And only with these modules i can see the hifiberry in aplay -l ." I know that these are not the right modules (should be snd_soc_bcm2708 bcm2708_dmaengine snd_soc_hifiberry_dacplus) , but with these, i cant find a soundcard with aplay - l. Edit blacklist in /etc/modprobe.d/xbian.conf doesnt change anything. It would be great, if you can help me! Greetings from Hamburg, Gunnar RE: How can i get my hifiberry dac+ working with xbian? - menakite - 1st Oct, 2014 06:49 AM We don't currently support that model, it'll be in the next kernel update though.
