VOIP problem when using rpi - fredo55 - 29th Oct, 2014 09:17 AM Software XBian version: 1.0RC2 XBMC version: 13.1-Beta1/Confluence Overclock settings: none Hardware Power supply rating: 5V/2A RPi model : B SD card size and make/type: 16G/c10 Network : LAN Connected devices : Flirc, usb HDD-1T, Marantz avr (Solved) Every time I use my phone (vonage voip) people tell me my voice is cutting badly. As soon I halt my rpi the voice is OK. I've verified flirc is not the problem, nor is the router (set QoP to Highest for voip) or the vonage modem. I need help to pinpoint the cause of this interference probably with flexget, transmission or something else. The chopping occurs all the time even when not downloading. Thanks: RE: VOIP problem when using rpi - f1vefour - 29th Oct, 2014 01:27 PM I imagine it's transmission, start there and cut off each additional network service. RE: VOIP problem when using rpi - fredo55 - 30th Oct, 2014 03:53 AM You are right, thank you. As soon I stopped transmission phone is clear while running rpi. Checking transmission settings ratio D/U is 0.2, I assume that is for default. In october I got 36G downloaded and 137G uploaded which is insane (my monthly limit is 100G). I'll set D/U to 1 to see how it goes. Can I set transmission to stop as soon downloads are done? Any other suggestions?
