It now points to xbian-github tracker and then requests a password.
I was initially looking for an area to post an idea for an improvement to XBian

yes, it is how is suppose to be. once asked for password you just use your forum password after you going to be redirected to git hub, section issue where you can report issues
Password is there as spam protection
