NICE Level - Couchpotato/SickRage - husntvar - 11th Mar, 2015 11:58 AM

Hi,

I a trying to understand how the nice level is set and managed in services like couchpotato/transmission/sickbeard when I install using xbian package (xbian-package-sickbeard). Seems like all these python programs have nicelevel=7 and transmission 12.

I see in the init scripts that they have something like
Code:
start-stop-daemon --nicelevel $NICE
However I cannot see where this variable NICE is set. I simply cannot understand (maybe I am a complete noob), can someone point me to the right way?

Probably here :
/etc/default/transmission

but i've not a working XBIan for the moment, so cannot check.

Kidding, what's wrong with your installation?
