Some findings that should be fixed? - NitSuA - 1st May, 2015 12:56 AM

Hi all,

I just want to share some of my findings that in my option should be fixed:
  • During boot on the rpi B 1.0, there is a log message with goes very fast, but it ends with "permission denied"..
  • In the boot as well, the loading indicator says "starting xbmc" which should be "starting kodi"
  • In xbian config (in kodi) there are subtitles which state like: "xbian-common-config.clicktoload" which should display "Click to load"

Maybe someone can change these minor issues? I would really appreciate that ;-)

I immediatly fixed point 2.
I don't understand what's point 1.
Point 3 is something i believe @belese should fix.

Hi @CurlyMo,

Thnx for your prompt action!
regarding point 1, there are some text messages displayed in the first initial boot seconds of the system. There is one long line, ending with "permission denied".

I'm looking for a logfile in xbian to retreive the full message, but have no idea where those messages are stored. I'm looking now in var/log. Any idea where I can find these?

#1 It's a udev error message. I'm getting the same and I opened a thread but I cannot find it any more.
I had to make a video with my mobile to read the errors.
for me was something about /sys/block/mmcblk0/subsystem/mmcblk0/queue path

I can confirm that the 1st issue is fixed, for the second I will wait for the update to reach stable channel. As of the 3rd issue, is there someone else besides @belese who can fix this? Because I think belese is not around anymore?
