What does XBMC exit status 99 mean? - Otaku Wally - 11th Aug, 2015 02:15 AM

My XBMC has the problem that it is restarting very often, and then suddenly, it seems to work again without any reason (No, it's not the power source). It's just the XBMC service and I can see the following line in syslog for every restart:

Terminal
Aug 10 18:12:17 xbian xbmc: Exit status was: 99

What does this exit code mean? And how can I track down the real problem? (Yeah, I know about the debug logs ;-) )

I already found out that it is the standard returncode from the upstart scripts, so forget it ;-)
