Anything happened before updating (system crash)? Or maybe a simple reboot helps
RE: Help - issues installing latest updates - Skywatch - 29th Jan, 2016 06:43 PM
Some other things to consider...
Maybe the SD card is corrupted or failing. Take it out of the pi and scan it on another machine for errors.
Reinstall Xbian from scratch and see if that helps.
Are you overclocking the pi? If so go back to the default settings and see if that helps.
Check the power supply is good and stable, or get another 5v 2A power supply and try agian.
RE: Help - issues installing latest updates - nsviper - 30th Jan, 2016 03:41 AM
looks like a file has become corrupt in the dpkg/info folder.
Browsing t'internet for other solutions, I tried to remove the offending file via ssh but it won't go. So reimage of SD card is only fix...
Ah well
