IF setting bug. - Skywatch - 19th Mar, 2016 07:35 PM Probably a Kodi issue, but I cannot change the ip address of a pi 2 from within the Kodi system menu. It always returns an error message. Works fine from xbian-config however. RE: IF setting bug. - IriDium - 27th Mar, 2016 01:35 AM Didn't know you could change the IP address from within Kodi itself, or do you mean Kodi-xbian-config as opposed to ssh-xbian-config? RE: IF setting bug. - Nachteule - 27th Mar, 2016 03:11 AM Does this happen on a fresh install or with and older installation? Just tested with latest image on RPi3, no problem (etn0 from DHCP -> static IP 1 ->static IP 2) RE: IF setting bug. - Skywatch - 27th Mar, 2016 07:52 AM Iridium you are correct. It's as old as a pi 2 version can be I suppose This raises the question as to how often we can upgrade and how often we should reinstall everything from scratch? Very good question - but I suppose there is no answer For me - I never did a fresh install for my 'productive' XBian's, always upgrading. So I went from Rpi1 -> RPi2 -> Rpi3, never had serious trouble And my .kodi folder comes from XBMC 10 (Dharma) RE: IF setting bug. - Skywatch - 31st Mar, 2016 04:45 AM I guess that I did some fresh installs in the early days (2012-2015) but not for a while. |
