Connect to wifi from Xbian settings - Mentalblaze - 9th Apr, 2016 09:05 PM When I go to Xbian Settings and select Network wlan0, I get Status "DOWN". I can login to xbian with SSH and that way find and connect to my wifi. Then, when I go to Xbian Settings the wlan0 is "UP". But that won't work in my case as I won't use my Xbian at home. I will use it while traveling and I can't access it from SSH in those cases. I have to be able to use the "normal" settings pages to do my configuration. Is there some other page I missed here? RE: Connect to wifi from Xbian settings - IriDium - 9th Apr, 2016 09:19 PM If it says DOWN, you need to click on SSID to get a list of Wifi in the area. Select the one you want, type the passphrase and all should be working. RE: Connect to wifi from Xbian settings - Mentalblaze - 9th Apr, 2016 10:48 PM Thanks. That worked - I got the impression that SSID just was a info field.
