I can't seem to find it in the Audio setup (Alpha3) RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - rikardo1979 - 14th Dec, 2012 05:20 AM testing ![]() any specific part you want me to test ? or just general playback and stability ? RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - CurlyMo - 14th Dec, 2012 05:35 AM Always general tests... RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - rikardo1979 - 14th Dec, 2012 08:35 PM can we get back the 128 RAM split as I found some files what having issue to play (black screen with sound only) on 100 split RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - CurlyMo - 14th Dec, 2012 09:01 PM What kind of files? RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - rikardo1979 - 14th Dec, 2012 09:03 PM this is with real killer test files, like 40mbs bit rate ![]() RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - rikardo1979 - 14th Dec, 2012 10:05 PM another a bit weird issue I came across on all my files I've tried to play I see lot of stutter on the 1st atempt to play, but when I stop/play again they play smooth as it should. Most of the videos plays fine on 2nd atempt but some on 3rd..?? this is really weird and I haven't seen this behaviour on earlier releases not sure if the log file help but I've looked into and haven't seen anything suspicious RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - Koenkk - 14th Dec, 2012 10:49 PM @rikardo1979, this is indeed really strange, does this also happen when you try this build with a fresh image? RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - rikardo1979 - 15th Dec, 2012 05:59 AM not sure what you mean by fresh image.. I've updated to latest nightly before I have Alpha 3 and haven't have this issues Maybe I should try again new latest image and after install nightly again (14th Dec, 2012 10:49 PM)Koenkk Wrote: @rikardo1979, this is indeed really strange, does this also happen when you try this build with a fresh image? RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - rikardo1979 - 16th Dec, 2012 03:50 AM another update I've managed to reproduce the earlier issue with video stutter my finding is as follow update to the latest nightly XBMC RC1 from XBian Alpha 3 > XBMC RC1 - video stutter on 1st atempt to play from XBian Alpha 1 > XBMC RC1 - video playback is perfect Does it make any sense ? RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - CurlyMo - 16th Dec, 2012 05:14 AM One of the things that we have changed is the memsplit... RE: XBMC Frodo RC1 - rikardo1979 - 16th Dec, 2012 05:21 AM yes i know that but it doesnt afect the playback stutter only on 1st atempt to play it.if there is an issue with mem split than usualy u have black screen with audion only. i have no idea what can cause this weird thing. but to be honest, it doesnt realy bothered me ![]() |
