Difference between xbian-config and apt - YoYoost - 11th Nov, 2017 01:33 AM Hi, Recently I noticed that sometimes there are no updates available in 'xbain-config' but are available via 'apt upgrade' I tried looking for an answer for this in the forums\FAQ\github but cannot find it. My apt sources.list is up to date. Is there any reason for this difference? (perhaps stability?) RE: Difference between xbian-config and apt - deHakkelaar - 11th Nov, 2017 03:11 AM Can you show an example ? I believe some packages are pinned but dont know how this affects apt upgrade. When using apt upgrade XBian 20171110 was available. Edit: By the way I ran option 1, 2 and 3 in the xbian-config update section. |
